What Makes Attorney Patrick “Shea” Callahan Tennessee’s Authoritative Medical Malpractice Lawyer?

Shea graduated from Cookeville’s Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in Chemistry with an emphasis on Biochemistry. Following graduation, he pursued a career as a musician while working in surgery to “pay the bills.” Over the next decade, he participated in over 10,000 surgeries while continuing to write, record, and perform as a musician. In his early thirties, he decided to make a change. He took the law school admission test, applied to law school, and ultimately earned his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University in 2010.

While in law school, Shea clerked for the Honorable John Turnbull and for attorney Jon E. Jones, an attorney with decades of experience as one of the top medical malpractice/Health Care Liability attorneys in the state. After graduating from law school, Shea returned to Cookeville as an associate at the Law Offices of Jon E. Jones focusing on complex medical malpractice cases. Shea’s vast experience in surgery and his education made medical malpractice a natural fit for him. In addition, Shea feels at home when he is standing before a jury, at the center of the stage, and in the spotlight just like he did as a musician.

As a co-founder of Callahan & Binkley, PLC, Shea also has experience in personal injury, products liability, business, and contract disputes.
